Handmade Nordic Spirit Flavoured with Dill, Cumin and Seaweed

Rye spirit made from 100% Estonian grain, flavored with dill, cumin and seaweed. Matured in French oak casks and finished in American oak casks. 

Saxby Akvavit name comes from the Saxby lighthouse on the island of Vormsi, which is the westernmost peak of Estonia. The seaweed for this spirit have been collected from around this island.

Color: light green, slight yellowish shade

Aroma: saltiness, seaweed and caraway seeds

Taste: sweet rye, clearly recognizable cumin, a nuance of seaweed with a noticeable saltiness. Fresh dill in the aftertaste.

Serving: serve as an aperitif, or as a shot with fish dishes. Can be used as a cocktail ingredient.
